Review Policy
I love reading chick lit, YA and crime/thrillers. I accept review copies of traditionally published books. I mainly accept physical copies but I am willing to accept ebooks too.
NOTE: Unfortunately, from the beginning of 2014, I will no longer be accepting self published books for review. It has been a really tough decision to make but there are just too many requests and too many books to get through. I hope once I've cleared the backlog of books I have to review that I can start reviewing self published books again. If I have worked with you before, however, and you are a self published author then I would be willing to review any of your other titles.
All books are scored out of five stars. Some reviewers don’t score books and others do. I choose to score books so I can compare them against each other. The rating I give them is based purely on the enjoyment factor they give me and is not linked to anything else.
I do not get paid for reviews; I read books for pleasure and write honest reviews. My reviews are not swayed by monetary bribes, gifts or friendship; all reviews are honest and based purely on the novel I have read.
I base every review around my knowledge of the genres I read and feel that I have read extensively enough into many genres to be able to give reliable reviews of a book. However, as always, books are also based on personal taste so I may enjoy something you don’t or you may enjoy something I didn’t. This site is mainly dedicated to helping you what to choose to read next.
When I review a book I do not automatically add a review to Amazon or Goodreads, (mainly because of time constraints) however I am more than happy to do so. All you have to do is ask :)
