After reading Down To You, I was really intrigued to read the second installment in the Bad Boys series. This book did not let me down! It was full of drama, sex and cliffhangers that have left me desperate for the next book.
Olivia is still trying to come to terms with the secrets that Cash has shared with her. She can’t seem to get him off of her mind and even though she wants him more than she’s ever wanted anyone, she can’t help but feel a little wary about him. As Cash tries to build up her trust again, strangers from Cash’s past start to resurface and everything that Olivia thought she knew is about to be twisted once more. Olivia knew that falling for cash was a risk. Cash is a bad boy and sometimes bad boys bring some bad things with them…
I loved this second book and I devoured it in one sitting (about two hours.) The emotions that were within the covers of this book were crazy. Passion, lust, love, hate, fear and trust to name a few! I was on the edge of my seat as I raced through the pages and many times I had a moment where I had to say ‘OH SHIT’ (sorry, naughty word). The cliffhangers in this book were intense which meant I couldn’t put the book down; I HAD to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. The ending of the book is one of the biggest cliffhangers and I am now desperate to get my hands on a copy of the third book in this series so I can continue on these characters journeys.
The character development was impressive in this novel. Olivia went through so much over the course of this book that I couldn’t help but feel pride at her ability to adapt to any situation and her independence and strength that she so clearly had. Cash is just divine. I wouldn’t mind having him as my boyfriend let me tell you! He gives the name ‘bad boy’ a whole new meaning!
I cannot recommend this book enough and I cannot wait to read the third book in this series!
This book is the PERFECT new adult book. Sex, thrills, more sex and a hot guy….what more could you want?
